Our Policies 

Returns

SoundRite Acoustics, Inc. ships most products on the next business day for orders received by Noon ET. Noon (EST) from the prior day. The shopping cart will calculate the shipping automatically during pre checkout. On occasion the UPS site may have an overload and not be able to render a shipping rate, in that case our software will apply a "Value based rate", should there be an error in the rates applied we'll adjust it. You may cancel your order at any time during the process. Shipping costs are based on the final weight and dimensions of the items ordered, the destination zip code, and the method of shipping option you've selected during checkout., we charge whatever the couriers charge us and pass on any volume discounts we receive.

Orders placed from outside the continental US, shipping costs will be manually checked after the order has been placed to make sure the pricing is correct. Depending upon the destination. You will be contacted if an item is not available.

Please note that if you don't check your email regularly, you might not see the notice. Choose the correct shipping method to insure that you receive your shipment on time.

 

If your order is urgent please make note in the checkout notes and Email us so that we may give your order special attention.

 

Sales outside of the U.S. Orders outside the U.S. a wire transfer is the only form of payment we will accept.

SHIPPING CHOICES

We use UPS for our shipping. All rates are those of this carrier.

 

Orders placed between Noon Friday and Sunday are processed on Monday.

 

International orders

We may be charged an up charge for shipments on International orders, kindly leave you email address if we need to get in touch with you. We'll let you know before we process the order. You will be responsible for your countries taxes or tariffs/customs fee's if applicable. If you wish to place a large order, my we suggest that you contact us prior to placing your order. We will require a wire transfer of funds prior to shipping.

When shipping overseas you will need to select "other" for state, otherwise you will receive the wrong rate. In the special instructions, indicate the State/Providence.

 

SPEED OF DELIVERY (domestic orders only)

 

The four options for delivery are Ground , 3-Day Select , second Day Air and Overnight .
Speed of delivery applies to in stock items only. If it has to be special ordered, you may have to wait a bit longer
. When in doubt, ask.

 

 

We cannot control delivery once the package is in the hands of the carrier. All estimated delivery times are provided by the carriers. Delivery guarantees are the responsibility of the delivery service.
International shipping can be significantly delayed by Customs.

SHIPPING RATES

 

Shipping is automatically calculated during checkout. You may cancel at anytime during the transaction. We charge whatever it costs us to send the packages (shipping costs, packaging, labels, etc). To calculate the rate, we need your zip code, which is why the rate shows up at the end of the transaction.

UPS Rates our software communicates with UPS to determine the applicable rate to apply. It retrieves the weight and dimensions we have posted in our system for each product listed in our database.

 

Inaccurate Rates. On a rare occasion our software is unable to commutate with UPS due to high volume, in this case our system will post a product value rate, should this rate not be consistent with UPS rates, we will adjust the charges + or - and notify you of the adjustment.

 

Note: All shipping costs and handling fee's are non-refundable. 

 

APO/FPO ADDRESSES

 

UPS requires a physical address. P.O. Boxes are not acceptable.


RETURNS

 

What is your Return Policy?
We do our best to be flexible with returns. We will need a reason for the return, if a product is defective or the  wrong product is ordered. You will need to contact us and request a RMA. Kindly indicate your invoice number,  your name and means of contact. Some  products have a 20-25% restocking fee. When in doubt ask.

 

Special Order Items may only be returned if the manufacturer will allow us to return the item. They are handled on a case-by-case basis. In general, consider a Special Order Item as non-returnable.

 

International shipping costs are not refundable under any circumstance.

 

  • Marine electronics may only be returned if unopened.
  • Ignition parts and all engine electronic or electrical items may not be returned.
  • All returned products must be complete, i.e., no missing components such as warranty cards & packing material.

Contact us for returns on defective items. The item returned depends upon the warranty. Most items should be sent to us, but some go directly to the manufacturer.

 

All purchases are in U.S. Currency

 

REFUNDS

 

  • What is our Refund Policy?
    Refunds are issued after the returned product has been received and inspected. Refunds are issued in the same form as payment was received for the original order. Please allow a week from the time the package arrives at our warehouse for the credit to be processed.

  • Shipping & handling costs are non-refundable. The exceptions are cases where we made an error. Refunds for service failures are processed when the courier recognizes that they have not met their guarantee and have issued a credit to us for your order.

  • For defective merchandise, you only have to pay for delivery once. The replacement merchandise is sent at our expense.

  • Some of our distributors have a 15-25% restocking fee

 

EXCHANGE OPTIONS

 

How can I exchange an item?
If you need a different item or need to exchange a defective item for a new one, the exchange can be handled in two ways.

 

  • Speed Exchange: We issue an RMA for the merchandise to be returned, charge your card for the new item and ship it right away. You return the original merchandise and a credit is issued when the item is received and processed. This is the fastest way to get a replacement item.
  • Normal Exchange: We issue an RMA for the merchandise to be returned. You return the original merchandise and we ship a new item. This takes a bit longer, but does not cost you any additional money up front.

We're sorry, but we cannot send out a new product unless either payment is made for the new shipment or the original is returned and received in-house.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

 

How can I pay ?
We can process your order most efficiently with payment from a credit card. We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover. We will accept checks, money orders as well. Place your order online. During the checkout procedure, enter in the credit card number in the space provided. Money Orders are treated as cash and orders are shipped immediately. Checks must clear the bank before we can ship. Please allow 7 days before we can ship your order..

 

We're sorry, but we do not ship C.O.D.

 

SALES TAX

 

Do I pay Sales Tax on my order?
Sales Tax must be charged on any delivery made inside Nevada and in Florida in some cases, if our distributor in located in FLA, Maryland, Virginia, South/North Carolina, CA, MA, MD, WA And Georgia, then we are required to collect tax.  If you have a Nevada Billing Address but have your order delivered to another state, it is Tax Exempt. The rate calculator will request your county for delivery and add the appropriate Sales Tax if your order is taxable. We must have a valid Exemption Form on file for your company to remove the tax. The rate calculator will tax your order.  We adjust the invoice manually during processing.

 

TRACKING NUMBERS

 

May I have a tracking number?
Tracking numbers are generated by the shipping firm used to deliver your package. Depending upon the location of the item, we can have the carrier email us the tracking number. We are working on an automated system to email this information to you as soon as we receive it. This is not available from some vendors and some warehouses.

Can I call in my order?
We strongly encourage you to place the order online.

Part of our discount pricing is because we can handle orders online more efficiently than we can if they are called in. In addition, the website calculates shipping automatically, generates an email confirmation of your order, allows us to send you the invoice via email immediately upon finalization of your order.

No problem. Just complete our order form online. Enter your phone number in the "Purchase order box provided". You may call us with your name and order number to give us the card number over the phone. See our policy if you don't have a credit card.

 

Do I have to sign for delivery?
Generally, most delivery services will require a signature for their records and ours. The driver is responsible if your package disappears.
